• Mission: To directly assist the Finance Team with a wide range of projects, supporting daily financial operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and contributing to reconciliation processes.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Reporting Support: Actively assist in the preparation and compilation of critical month-end financial reports and comprehensive monthly operational reports, contributing to timely and accurate financial insights.
• Account Reconciliation and Analysis: Directly contribute to the accuracy of financial records by assisting with accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank statement, and balance sheet reconciliation processes, identifying discrepancies and ensuring data integrity.
• Audit and Compliance Assistance: Provide crucial support during audit processes, helping to gather necessary documentation and verify financial information to ensure compliance and transparency.
• Payment Processing and Credit Evaluation: Support the payment processing team in their daily operations and perform essential credit checks, contributing to sound financial transactions and risk management.
• Data Management and Administrative Support: Execute precise data entry tasks for various financial records and undertake other assigned duties to ensure the efficient functioning of the Finance Team.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Current or recent enrollment in a graduate or undergraduate degree program with an interest and aptitude to work in Accounting.
• Experience: Proficient in Microsoft Office and Internet applications.
• Skills:
• Financial Accounting Principles: Demonstrate an aptitude for applying basic financial accounting principles, as evidenced by an interest in working in accounting.
• Data Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Possess a strong ability to perform data entry and reconciliation tasks with high levels of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
• Organizational and Prioritization Skills: Exhibit the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage numerous assignments simultaneously.
• Analytical Aptitude: Display an aptitude for analyzing financial data, identifying discrepancies, and supporting reconciliation processes.
• Problem-Solving Orientation: Show a proactive approach to supporting the identification and resolution of financial discrepancies and pricing errors.
• Work Availability: Ability to work nontraditional work hours as needed.
