What You’ll Actually Do
• Pickups: Make waste pickups throughout a customer’s facility, ensuring all materials are accounted for and handled correctly.
• Consolidation: Conduct chemical bulking and consolidation operations, optimizing storage and preparation for disposal.
• Packaging: Package and label waste products to maximize efficiency and maintain strict regulatory compliance standards.
• Response: Participate in spill response activities on customer’s site as needed, contributing to immediate containment and cleanup efforts.
• Logistics: Ensure the safe loading and unloading of waste hauling vehicles, verifying container integrity and adherence to safety protocols.
The Must-Haves
• Background: This is an entry-level position at Clean Harbors, ideal for individuals starting their career who possess a High School diploma or equivalent. Many current leaders within the company began their journey in this foundational role, highlighting the potential for significant career growth and development.
• Experience: Beyond possessing a valid driver’s license, candidates should be prepared to complete a background check, drug test, and physical as part of the hiring process.
