Media Intern | Nucleus

The Tone:
This is a part-time internship at Nucleus, with ideal locations in SF or NYC, though not strictly required. Nucleus focuses on the exciting intersection of venture capital, storytelling, social media, and technology. This role is a pivotal opportunity to help build the company’s media engine, working directly with the founder on content, community, and creative infrastructure, rather than being a traditional intern role.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Content Creation: Clip and package key podcast moments from raw footage for distribution as short-form content.
• Social Media Management: Draft social posts and short-form content for platforms like X, Substack, and LinkedIn.
• Brand Consistency: Help maintain Nucleus’s consistent voice and tone across all publishing platforms.
• System Building: Construct simple systems to streamline publishing, content tracking, and storytelling processes.
• Process Optimization: Systematize the podcast clipping process to identify and implement effective methods over time.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Current student interested in venture, AI, and the individuals shaping the future.
• Experience: Savvy on social media platforms like X, LinkedIn, Substack, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, or Instagram, with an understanding of what performs well; able to work with raw footage and create strong clips independently.
• Skills: Strong writing instincts, meticulous attention to detail, high agency, curiosity, and the ability to work remotely and stay organized without constant oversight.
• Bonus: Already clips podcasts, runs a niche social account, or posts thoughtful threads about technology.
