Research Intern – GTM & Market Intelligence | NukonAI

The Tone:
This is an unpaid internship position at NukonAI, located remotely. NukonAI is an early-stage AI security startup focused on building the runtime enforcement layer for enterprise AI agents, operating with a small team. This role is vital for providing crucial market intelligence and identifying strategic opportunities, directly contributing to the startup’s go-to-market strategy and understanding of the competitive landscape. Your work will directly support the founders in navigating the evolving AI and cybersecurity sectors.

• Mission: This role is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and reporting on critical market intelligence to support the company’s go-to-market strategy and identify key stakeholders and opportunities within the AI security space.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Qualification: Research and qualify CISO, CTO, and CRO profiles on a daily basis.
• Intelligence: Monitor AI governance and cybersecurity news to deliver concise morning intelligence bullets.
• Opportunity Tracking: Track accelerator and investor opportunities relevant to the startup.
• Data Management: Log all research findings and activities meticulously in a shared tracker, ensuring daily updates without exception.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Final year undergraduate or postgraduate student from any discipline.
• Experience: Must possess strong research skills and a proven ability to deliver tasks independently.
• Skills: Self-driven work ethic, capability to produce results without requiring constant oversight, and strong organizational skills for daily logging.
• Bonus: An interest in AI, cybersecurity, or startups is a preferred qualification.
