DoD SkillBridge: Software Developer or Engineer | TeamWorx Security

The Tone:
This is an internship at TeamWorx Security, located in Columbia, MD; will consider remote or hybrid. TeamWorx Security is a team of data scientists, software engineers, researchers, product developers, and operation-minded folks who specialize in developing applications and products that their customers love. Their mission is to reinvent the way technical and non-technical people work with technology, creating harmonious, automated solutions designed to improve customers’ daily workflow. As an intern, you will help expand and build their platform and products, contributing to creation and innovation that brings mission capabilities to the warfighter faster.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Drive: Drive the next generation of software products.
• Innovate: Innovate and identify opportunities for product development.
• Participate: Participate in defining team culture and product vision.
• Develop: Develop efficient, reliable, testable code for the platform.
• Explore: Explore, learn, and build technologies, embracing mistakes as part of the learning process.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Active Duty military members who meet SkillBridge eligibility, specifically those with experience in DoD Software Factories developing warfighter capabilities.
• Experience: 3+ years of software development or engineering serving in a Full-Stack Developer capacity or similar role, with experience in React and Node.js or similar technologies.
• Skills: Ability to work in an agile, collaborative environment; excellent analytical skills; ability to take ownership of projects and drive them to completion; a keen interest in AI and ML technologies.
• Bonus: Innovative and curious, loves to find smart solutions to challenges, likes to work in a team-oriented environment, great attitude.
