The Tone:
This is a Project Intern position at TikTok, located in a US-based city, likely Los Angeles, CA, for a 2026 start. TikTok’s Global Monetization Product and Technology team develops advertising solutions that generate revenue and provide measurable value for businesses. This role offers an opportunity to build client-facing measurement tools, enabling advertisers to understand the impact of their TikTok marketing. • Team: Core Ads team within the Global Monetization Product and Technology team, partnering cross-functionally across engineering, data science, design, and global business teams.
• Mission: Develop client-facing measurement solutions that enable advertisers to assess the impact of their TikTok marketing on business returns.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Design Tools: Design and iterate on measurement tools that evaluate ad effectiveness across signal quality, attribution outcomes, and third-party (3P) tracking workflows.
• Develop Products: Support the development and improvement of attribution and 3P measurement products, enhancing accuracy, scalability, and usability of performance insights.
• Maximize ROAS: Drive ad solutions that maximize return on ad spend (ROAS), leveraging data insights to continuously improve product performance and adapt to evolving advertiser needs.
• Collaborate & Strategize: Collaborate cross-functionally with Signal, Attribution, Optimization, Insights, and vertical product teams to align on measurement strategy and execution, and contribute to product strategy and roadmap development by defining clear goals, success metrics, and milestones.
• Analyze & Prioritize: Analyze complex business problems to identify high-impact opportunities, and prioritize features that improve measurement fidelity, advertiser trust, and overall user experience.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Student currently obtaining a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related fields.
• Experience: Must be able to commit to at least 12-week full-time work period in 2026.
• Skills: Strong logical thinking and data analysis skills; strong organizational, planning, communication, and execution skills; ability to drive projects independently with reliability; proven ability to work cross-functionally in a collaborative environment.
• Bonus: Prior product-related internship or project experience; experience in ads monetization business and ecosystem; experience working with data teams and other technical teams; academic background in computer science or related fields with technical experience or project work.
