RÖDL USA is a truly global professional services firm that provides comprehensive accounting, assurance, and tax solutions. The firm primarily serves foreign-owned, mid-sized German-speaking and European family businesses operating in the U.S., spanning diverse industries such as manufacturing, distribution, technology, and services. This role offers critical insights and practical experience in international auditing, accounting, and tax consulting, contributing significantly to the firm’s global vision and client success within a diverse intercultural setting where professional growth is supported through learning opportunities and regular feedback.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Provide essential assistance on diverse international auditing, accounting, and tax consulting projects, engaging with US subsidiaries of foreign-owned companies.
• Experience: Acquire hands-on practical experience across all facets of US-American and German auditing and tax consulting services, tailored for an international client base, and benefit from access to cutting-edge technology.
• Train: Participate in structured training sessions designed to enhance professional skills, covering specific tools like ProSystems Engagement and Microsoft Excel, and practical tasks such as bank reconciliation preparation, cash audits, and tax estimations.
• Collaborate: Work effectively and closely within a high-performing and interdisciplinary team, learning from experienced professionals and receiving regular feedback to support personal growth.
• Engage: Undertake challenging assignments and responsibilities within a truly international business context, contributing directly to the success of global clients and celebrating team achievements.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Student who has completed at least three semesters of economics studies, with a specialized focus on international accounting, auditing, and/or taxation.
• Experience: Possesses initial theoretical or practical experience in the fields of accounting or taxation.
• Skills: Fluent in both written and spoken German and English; demonstrates strong teamwork, self-initiative, high quality awareness, good analytical abilities, and independent working methods.
• Bonus: Previous internships completed abroad or other additional qualifications are considered advantageous.
