The Tone:
This is a ten-week internship role at Amazon, located in one of Amazon’s fulfillment centers, sort centers, delivery stations, or other operations buildings across Arizona, Utah, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, and Nevada. Amazon is a large organization focused on customer satisfaction, built upon an extensive and efficient operations network. This internship offers the opportunity to develop a collaborative leadership style and manage teams of hourly employees in a fast-paced supply chain environment. This role is crucial for fostering future leaders who will contribute to the continuous improvement and effective management of Amazon’s operational facilities.

• Type: Full-time role (10-week internship, 40 hours per week)
• Location: In-person, one of Amazon’s fulfillment centers, sort centers, delivery stations or other operations buildings across AZ, UT, NM, TX, OK, NV. Site placement is matched by aligning your location preferences with availability after your interview.
• Pay: $28.85/hr
• Team: Manages a team of 50-100 Amazon Associates, reporting to site leadership.
• Mission: Learn to coach, motivate, and mentor a team of Amazon associates while developing a summer project to drive continuous improvement within the warehouse environment.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Coach: Learn to coach, manage, and develop a team of 50-100 Amazon Associates.
• Project: Drive standard work and continuous improvement through an intern project in partnership with site leadership.
• Autonomy: Work independently and operate effectively in an autonomous environment.
• Operations: Oversee truck deliveries, handle and sort packages using pallet jacks, and operate PIT equipment at applicable facilities.
• Schedule: Regularly work shift patterns that include nights, weekends, and/or holidays based on business needs.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program with all requirements anticipated to be completed between December 2026 and August 2027.
• Experience: No specific prior work experience required for this student-level internship.
• Skills: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Bonus: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program for Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering, or another related field.
