What You’ll Actually Do
• Internship Completion: Complete a 12-week internship program combining educational sessions with precepted bedside clinical experience.
• Patient Care: Provide comprehensive care for pediatric patients focusing on GI, pulmonary, pediatric surgery, burn, and neonatal populations.
• Unit Collaboration: Contribute to an energetic, team-oriented environment, ensuring close work with patients and families to promote family-centered care.
• Professional Development: Take initiative in seeking professional growth and demonstrate expertise in communication and problem-solving skills.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Graduate Nurse or newly licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan, without prior RN practice.
• Experience: Successful NCLEX completion prior to start date; Extern or Inpatient Tech experience, Pediatrics preferred.
• Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; highly motivated, organized, and demonstrates leadership abilities.
