This position offers the opportunity to perform a full range of departmental duties under general supervision, working on real projects that align with your interests and career aspirations. What You’ll Do
• Develop hands-on experience in day-to-day HR operations and front-desk customer service support
• Participate in wellness programs and events
• Assist with benefits orientation sessions
• Provide feedback and recommendations to internal Hiring Guide and other HR-materials/handouts
• Assist with researching local, state, and national programs and policies to ensure the department is at or above standard
• Comply with all written City policies and procedures
• Adhere to assigned work schedule as outlined in City and department attendance policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned or directed
• Work on real projects that align with your interests and career aspirations
• Implement and present a final project that contributes to both the City of McKinney and your academic and professional development

• Are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program at an accredited college
