About the Role
This is a remote Marketing and Communications Intern role at Susan G. Komen, an organization dedicated to addressing breast cancer through research, community health, and public policy initiatives. The intern will receive direct supervision and gain hands-on nonprofit experience, academic education, and professional job preparation within the Marketing and Communications team.
What You’ll Do
• Complete a minimum of 120 hours for the semester, or what is required by your university’s program guidelines
• Explore the nonprofit industry
• Collaborate with SME’s in your area of interest
You’re a Good Fit If You
• Are authorized to perform duties in the U.S
• Your degree program must require an Internship for graduation
• Are actively enrolled in a 4 year or graduate degree program and must be enrolled in a class to receive academic credit
• Have a Minimum G.P.A of 3.0
• Have reliable internet access since this Internship is 100% remote
• Have Internship availability from late January to early May, during Komen’s hours of operation (Monday – Friday from 7am – 6pm CDT)
• Are available with at minimum 2 four hour blocks of time or 3 three hour blocks of time during the business week
