About the Role
As a TypeScript developer, you will be working on a critical part of the SOLIDWORKS Feedback System, which is responsible for the analysis and investigation into crashes and issues. The larger Feedback System is being refactored and enhanced to a more scalable system of microservices running on Kubernetes, focusing on supplying new data in novel ways to stakeholders. In this capacity, you would fulfill a key role helping to accomplish this task.
What You’ll Do
• Work on a containerized app for displaying and interacting with aggregated diagnostic data
• Work on other apps for parsing and processing the data
• Interface with developers in R&D, Operations, and stakeholders
You’re a Good Fit If You
• Have experience with React.js, Node.js, Javascript, and TypeScript
• Have some knowledge of databases
• Have a conceptual understanding of REST APIs
• Have completed or are pursuing a degree in computer science or a related field
Bonus Qualifications
• Have experience with ORMs for connecting to databases
• Have experience with Unit testing / mocking dependencies
• Have an understanding of DevOps practices
• Have experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes
• Have worked on projects in Javascript or TypeScript
Role Highlights & Compensation
• Compensation for the role will be commensurate with experience
• The total expected compensation range will be between $22 and $40, representing the base salary (or annualized salary based on estimated hourly compensation) and target bonus
