Job Description
About the Role
As a TypeScript developer, you will be working on a critical part of the SOLIDWORKS Feedback System, which is responsible for the analysis and investigation into crashes and issues. This role involves contributing to the refactoring and enhancement of the larger Feedback System suite, moving it to a more scalable system of micro services running on Kubernetes and supplying new data to stakeholders.
What You’ll Do
• Work on a containerized app for displaying and interacting with aggregated diagnostic data
• Work on other apps for parsing and processing data
• Interface with other departments, including developers in R&D, Operations, and stakeholders
• Fulfill a key role in the refactoring and enhancement of the Feedback System
You’re a Good Fit If You
• Have experience with React.js, Node.js, Javascript, and TypeScript
• Possess some knowledge of databases
• Have a conceptual understanding of REST APIs
• Have completed or are pursuing a degree in computer science or a related field
Bonus Qualifications
• Experience with ORMs for connecting to databases
• Experience with unit testing / mocking dependencies
• An understanding of DevOps practices
• Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes
• Projects you’ve worked on in Javascript or TypeScript
Role Highlights & Compensation
• Total expected compensation range: $22 and $40 (representing the base salary or annualized salary based on estimated hourly compensation, and target bonus)
