About the Role
This is a high-impact internship where you will be given full-time responsibilities from day one, working with the engineering team on a production healthcare platform. The role offers hands-on experience with enterprise-grade systems, making real contributions that impact products and customers, with the ultimate goal of converting interns into full-time employees within a high-velocity growth startup.
What You’ll Do
• Application Testing & Quality Assurance, including designing and executing test plans, performing manual testing, identifying bugs, and testing healthcare compliance features.
• Test Automation Development, covering building automated test suites, developing API testing scripts, creating performance testing scenarios, and implementing continuous testing pipelines.
• AI/ML Quality Support, involving collaboration with the AI team on document processing accuracy testing, validating machine learning models, designing test datasets, and analyzing AI/ML model performance.
• Data Engineering Quality Assurance, focused on developing data quality monitoring, creating automated checks for data integrity, building dashboards and alerts, and supporting ETL pipeline testing.
• Process Improvement & Strategy, which includes analyzing current QA processes, researching new testing tools, participating in technical decision-making, and documenting QA best practices.
You’re a Good Fit If You
• Are currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Have a strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies
• Have experience with at least one programming language (Python, JavaScript, Java, etc.)
• Possess basic knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and API testing
• Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Have strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
Bonus Qualifications
• Experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Pytest, Jest, etc.)
• Knowledge of healthcare IT, compliance requirements, or regulated industries
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS) and DevOps practices
• Experience with data analysis, ETL processes, or machine learning
• Previous internship or project experience in QA/testing roles
• Experience with Testing Tools: Selenium, Postman, Jest, Pytest, Cypress
• Experience with Programming: Python, JavaScript, SQL
• Experience with Databases: MongoDB, SQL databases
• Experience with Cloud/DevOps: AWS, Docker, CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Data Tools: Pandas, data validation frameworks
• Experience with Version Control: Git, GitHub
