German Intern/Trainee (Praktikant)

About the Role
We are seeking a qualified German intern/trainee for a 6-month commitment in our US offices, focusing on accounting, auditing, and tax projects. This program offers insights and experience in international auditing, accounting, and tax consulting, primarily serving US subsidiaries of foreign-owned, German-speaking and European family businesses.

What You’ll Do
• Gain practical experience in all areas of US and German auditing and tax consulting
• Participate in training across various areas, including ProSystems Engagement, Microsoft Excel, preparation of bank reconciliations, cash audits, and tax estimates
• Collaborate within a high-performing and interdisciplinary team
• Work on challenging activities in an international environment

You’re a Good Fit If You
• Have at least three semesters of economics studies with a focus on (international) accounting, auditing, and/or taxes
• Possess first theoretical and/or practical experience in accounting and/or taxes
• Enjoy teamwork, demonstrate high commitment, self-initiative, high quality awareness, and good analytical skills
• Have fluent knowledge of German and English in word and writing
• Employ self-initiative and independent working methods
