About the Role
Muse Knoxville is seeking a creative and motivated Digital Marketing Intern to support our marketing and communications team. This internship provides hands-on experience across graphic design, social media, content creation, digital campaigns, and event promotion, with opportunities to contribute to both internal and external communications.

What You’ll Do
• Create graphics for social media, digital campaigns, print materials, and events using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Manage social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok); schedule posts; create short-form video content; track engagement and analytics.
• Assist in writing newsletters, promotional materials, and press content; help produce videos in coordination with other departments.
• Support website updates and maintenance; capture and edit photography and videography for online channels.
• Assist in promoting events, managing event pages, and capturing content during events.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to improve digital presence and engagement strategies.
• Help create marketing materials for donor communications, impact reports, and fundraising campaigns.

• Have strong proficiency in graphic design tools (Primarily Canva).
• Have familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing basics.
• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Have an interest in marketing, communications, and nonprofit outreach.
• Possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Have the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Have proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Are pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Advertising, Public Relations, or a related field.

Role Highlights & Compensation
• Schedule: 15–20 hours per week; Part-time, Summer.
• Flexible hours to accommodate schedules, with occasional evening or weekend events.
• Possibility of extension into the Fall Semester.
• Compensation: The internship is unpaid, but academic credit is available.
