About the Role
The 2026 Events Intern will join the Hoosier Racing Tire team in Lakeville, IN, supporting the Sales, Marketing, and Communications teams by assisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of corporate events and trade shows. This hybrid internship, spanning Summer and Fall 2026, offers valuable, hands-on experience in corporate event planning within a fast-paced motorsports environment, with a strong preference for onsite work to maximize learning.
What You’ll Do
• Assist in planning and coordinating logistics for trade shows and customer events.
• Help manage event timelines, checklists, and budgets to ensure successful execution.
• Assist with on-site event setup, execution, and teardown as needed.
• Assist with scheduling, registration tracking, and attendee communications.
• Track event metrics and provide post-event summaries and recommendations.
• Research and source venues, booth display vehicles, event activations, and interactive engagement ideas to enhance brand presence.
You’re a Good Fit If You
• Are a student enrolled full-time at an accredited college/university and entering at least sophomore standing by Fall 2026.
• Are pursuing a degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Possess strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
• Have the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to work onsite in Lakeville, IN.
• Must be able to commute to Lakeville, IN.
Bonus Qualifications
• Have previous experience planning events, student organization involvement, or campus leadership roles.
• Have experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or event registration platforms.
• Have experience managing budgets or coordinating vendors.
• Have an interest in motorsports, manufacturing, or corporate branding.
Role Highlights & Compensation
