Job Description

About the Role
This is an Internship for a creative, detail-obsessed Marketing & PR Intern who thrives in fast-moving environments and takes real ownership of their work. As an intern, you will help shape the foundation of Vetra, contribute to real product and market research, and work directly on problems that influence what Vetra becomes, taking on meaningful, real-world responsibilities while learning, collaborating, and gaining exposure to how an early-stage company operates.

What You’ll Do
• Research and reach out to relevant publications, journalists, podcasts, and media outlets to continue to build Vetra’s press presence
• Draft and send pitches, follow up persistently, and manage ongoing media relationships
• Create professional short-form videos, ads, and visual content that communicate Vetra’s value proposition clearly and compellingly
• Develop and execute content across LinkedIn, email, and other relevant channels
• Write content for landing pages, decks, one-pagers, and other external-facing materials
• Track campaign and content performance, synthesize findings, and propose improvements
• Identify creative opportunities to get Vetra in front of the right audiences
• Learn and work alongside the Vetra team and other interns

You’re a Good Fit If You
• Are genuinely excited about startups, you want to build something, not just work somewhere
• Are highly creative with a strong sense of visual and written quality
• Have exceptional attention to detail, you notice when something is off and you fix it
• Are comfortable with video creation and editing tools (Adobe Premiere, CapCut, Canva, or similar)
• Are a clear, confident writer who can adapt tone from conversational to enterprise-grade
• Are a self-starter who takes initiative and moves with urgency

Bonus Qualifications
• Are ideally pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, Business, or a related field

Role Highlights & Compensation
• Boston, MA (Hybrid)
• Opportunity to join a startup early and do work that actually matters from day one
• Exposure to how an early-stage company operates
