About the Role
The Summer Social Media & Content Creation Intern will help AIM Services capture and share real-life stories of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities living, working, and thriving in our community. This role involves managing social media, capturing authentic content, and supporting the promotion of summer events and the annual campaign.
What You’ll Do
• Help manage AIM’s social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn)
• Capture photos and short videos throughout the community with AIM
• Create and schedule engaging social media posts and reels
• Highlight the stories of the people AIM supports
• Assist with promotion of our Croquet Tournament & Garden Party in August
• Help promote AIM’s annual awareness campaign
• Track engagement and help grow our online audience
• Support other communications and marketing projects as needed
You’re a Good Fit If You
• Interest in marketing, communications, media, or nonprofit work
• Proficient with social media platforms
• Basic photography/video skills (smartphone is fine)
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Organized, creative, and self-motivated
Bonus Qualifications
• Valid driver’s license preferred (to travel with programs)
Role Highlights & Compensation
• $20 / hour
• Part-Time, Summer 2026, ~15–20 hours/week
