About the Role

HaciGroup is seeking a Social Media Coordinator Intern to support its nonprofit community technology projects, including NELA Ride. This remote, unpaid internship/volunteer role offers real experience helping a mission-driven organization grow its public presence.

What You’ll Do
• Create and schedule social media posts
• Help write captions, short updates, and community announcements
• Support LinkedIn, Instagram, and other social channels
• Help organize content ideas around nonprofit tech, transportation, community impact, and volunteer work
• Track engagement and suggest improvements
• Work with the team to keep messaging clear, consistent, and professional

• Communicate clearly and respond reliably
• Are interested in nonprofits, social impact, community work, or technology
• Can write clean, simple captions
• Are comfortable taking feedback and improving work
• Can commit consistent weekly time

Bonus Qualifications
• Canva, CapCut, Adobe, or basic design experience
• Experience with Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, or content calendars
• Interest in storytelling, outreach, or nonprofit marketing
