Job Description Summary:
Paname Coffee & Tea is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Marketing Intern to join their team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various facets of marketing within a growing local business. The intern will play a crucial role in developing and executing marketing campaigns, creating engaging content, conducting market research, and supporting sales initiatives to maximize revenue generation and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Develop compelling and on-brand content for various platforms, including Instagram posts, Klaviyo email blasts, blog articles, and other promotional materials.
- Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, analyze competitor strategies, and understand customer preferences to inform marketing decisions.
- Event Marketing & Support: Assist in planning and executing marketing events for community engagement activities and new product launches, ensuring smooth operation and maximum impact.
- Sales & Revenue Generation: Actively contribute to the overall success of the business by identifying and maximizing sales opportunities and supporting revenue generation efforts.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of all products offered, current promotions, and pricing structures to effectively communicate value to customers.
- Barista Skills Development: Demonstrate a willingness to learn and acquire basic barista skills, enhancing product understanding and customer interaction.
- Community Engagement: Attend chamber of commerce events, community gatherings, and other networking opportunities alongside the Paname team to build relationships and represent the brand.
- Strategic Marketing Participation: Actively participate in the creation, support, and development of strategic marketing plans and initiatives.
- Effective Communication: Ensure clear, concise, and professional communication with team members, clients, and partners at all times.
Skills & Qualifications Required:
- Educational Background: Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a closely related field.
- Teamwork & Efficiency: Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while efficiently managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Organizational Acumen: Strong management and organizational skills to prioritize work and maintain structured workflows.
- Software Proficiency: Proficient in using graphic design tools such as Canva, and social media platforms, particularly Instagram.
- Responsibility & Autonomy: Demonstrates a strong sense of responsibility, autonomy, and a proactive problem-solving approach.
- Communication Skills: Excellent strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills for effective team interaction and external engagement.
- Customer Service Focus: A friendly and energetic personality complemented by a strong customer service orientation.
- Professionalism: Maintains a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Benefits & Compensation:
- Competitive Wages: Hourly pay ranging from $14 – $19, varying based on experience.
Work Details:
- Work Location: In-person/office based.
- Work Schedule: Flexible options available:
- Part-time: 15 – 25 hours/week
- Full-time: 36 hours/week
- Start Date: Anticipated within 2-3 weeks of the first interview.
