What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead: Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of complex features and services across the full stack.
• Collaborate: Collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Architect: Architect and implement scalable, performant, and secure APIs and microservices.
• Optimize: Optimize existing applications for speed and scalability, including identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks and production issues.
• Mentor: Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, with a focus on senior-level full stack web development.
• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in full stack web development, demonstrating a strong portfolio of shipped products, with expert proficiency in a modern front-end framework (React preferred) and extensive back-end development using languages like Node.js or Python.
• Skills: Expert proficiency in at least one modern front-end framework (React preferred) and strong command of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3; Extensive experience with back-end development using languages like Node.js, Python, Java, Go, or C# (Node.js/Python preferred); Deep understanding of RESTful API design and development; Proficiency with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB); Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP); Solid understanding of software design principles, data structures, and algorithms; Experience with version control systems (Git) and agile development methodologies.
• Bonus: Experience with microservices architecture and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes); Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices; Knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, Mocha, Chai); Experience with real-time applications and technologies (e.g., WebSockets); Contributions to open-source projects or a strong GitHub profile; Prior experience in a leadership or mentorship role within an engineering team; Understanding of security best practices in web application development.
