Job Description

COTA is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Summer Accounting Intern to join its finance team. This internship offers a valuable opportunity for hands-on experience in various accounting and finance operations, providing exposure to real-world financial processes within a dynamic and exciting entertainment environment.

Requirements & Essential Functions:

• Assist with data entry, account reconciliations, and the maintenance of financial records.
• Support accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Help in the preparation of financial reports and spreadsheets.
• Collaborate with team members on special projects and initiatives aimed at process improvements.
• Conduct research and analysis pertaining to accounting issues.
• Assist with the preparation of prior year documentation for storage.

Required Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled as a full-time student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office suite tools.

Physical Demand & Work Environments:

• Ability to stand, sit, use hands to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to squat, bend, twist, push/pull.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision and distance vision.
• Work may involve extreme outdoor environments throughout the year.
• The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate but can be loud during events.

Hourly pay rate will be commensurate with experience.
