What You’ll Actually Do
• Platform Development: Lead the design, development, and maintenance of robust, scalable, and efficient software for our core AI/ML platform, adhering to industry best practices.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and product managers to translate requirements into actionable platform features and capabilities.
• Core Component Implementation: Architect and implement critical components such as data pipelines, feature stores, model training frameworks, and high-throughput inference serving systems.
• CI/CD Optimization: Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines specifically tailored for machine learning models and platform components, ensuring rapid and reliable deployment.
• Technical Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, knowledge sharing, and continuous professional development within the team.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related technical field, focused on software development.
• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with a substantial focus on building and scaling complex systems or platforms.
• Skills: Expertise in Python (highly preferred), Java, Scala, or Go; strong hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) including services like Kubernetes; solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Bonus: Demonstrated experience in building and operating machine learning platforms (MLOps), familiarity with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), understanding of the end-to-end machine learning lifecycle, or experience with stream processing technologies (Apache Kafka, AWS Kinesis).
