Salary: $45,000 – $55,000 annually

About the Role

Next Step Realty is looking for a talented and creative Social Media & Content Creation Specialist to take charge of our digital presence. In this role, you will be the brand’s creative voice online, responsible for building and managing our presence across all major social media platforms. Your primary goal will be to produce engaging content that resonates with buyers, sellers, real estate agents, and the broader Baltimore community, effectively connecting them with Next Step Realty.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive social media content calendar for platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Content Creation: Create a wide range of engaging, on-brand content, specifically graphics, short-form video (reels), and compelling written copy.
  • Community Management: Actively manage and grow our social media communities by regularly responding to comments, messages, and proactively engaging with followers.
  • Paid Campaigns: Plan and execute paid social media advertising campaigns, including strategic audience targeting and efficient budget management.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor platform analytics, produce regular performance reports, and provide actionable insights to optimize content and strategy.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with real estate agents and leadership to spotlight new listings, team achievements, company milestones, and other relevant updates.
  • Trend Awareness: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, algorithm changes, and platform updates to ensure our content strategy remains fresh, competitive, and effective.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in social media management or content creation.
  • Design & Visuals: Strong eye for design and photography.
  • Video Production: Proficiency in short-form video production is a MUST.
  • Paid Social: Demonstrated experience running paid social media campaigns and interpreting ad performance data.
  • Communication: Excellent written communication skills coupled with a strong understanding of brand voice.
  • Industry Knowledge: Real estate industry experience is a plus, but not strictly required.
  • Flexibility: Must be able to work some evenings and weekends as needed for events.
