Branch Services Representative | Dupaco

This role is crucial for enhancing member relationships by providing accurate transaction processing, comprehensive account management, and thorough education on financial offerings. Your contribution will directly support branch operations and promote our financial services within the community.

• Mission: This person ensures accurate financial transactions, manages member accounts, and promotes financial services to deepen member relationships and support branch operational goals.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Transaction Processing: Process a variety of member transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments, and assist members in the lobby and with Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs) while balancing cash drawers daily.
• Account Lifecycle Management: Manage the full lifecycle of member accounts by opening, closing, and performing maintenance for checking, savings, and certificates of deposit, alongside handling account inquiries and processing Visa applications and balance transfers.
• Financial Guidance & Cross-Selling: Educate members on the features and benefits of Dupaco’s products and services, actively cross-sell digital solutions, conduct Money Makeovers and Credit History Lessons, and identify leads for specialized financial services.
• Proactive Member Outreach: Engage in proactive outreach and outbound calls to members, fostering relationships and offering full-family memberships to both new and existing individuals.
• Operational & Regulatory Compliance: Support overall branch operations, including opening and closing procedures and managing cash handling equipment, while ensuring strict adherence to all credit union regulations, policies, and compliance requirements, including fraud detection.
The Must-Haves
• Background: High school diploma or equivalent, early career in a customer service domain.
• Experience: Previous customer service experience.
• Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and an aptitude for learning new technologies.
• Bonus: Fluent in both English & Spanish (Bilingual) and previous cash handling experience are preferred.
