What You’ll Actually Do
• Payroll Processing: Process weekly payroll accurately and on time, ensuring all employees are compensated correctly and deductions are managed meticulously.
• Financial Management: Efficiently manage both accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Data Entry & Tracking: Accurately enter and track financial data, maintaining detailed and organized ledgers.
• Reconciliation & Insights: Reconcile bank and credit card statements regularly to ensure accuracy and assist with job costing and expense tracking for valuable insights.
• Accounting Support: Assist with AIA billing and other project-related accounting tasks, maintaining highly organized financial records for easy retrieval and audit readiness.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Professional with a background in dedicated payroll or bookkeeping, demonstrating strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
• Experience: 2+ years of dedicated payroll or bookkeeping experience, with a proven ability to manage sensitive financial information with the utmost professionalism and discretion.
• Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, a team-oriented mindset, and effective communication skills to proactively discuss payroll and accounting items with managers.
• Bonus: Construction accounting experience is a significant plus.
