Key Responsibilities

Payroll Management

• Process weekly payroll accurately and on time, ensuring all employees are compensated correctly.
• Verify employee hours rigorously using established time tracking systems.
• Maintain comprehensive payroll records, meticulously managing deductions, and ensuring full compliance with all relevant regulations.

Bookkeeping Operations

• Efficiently manage both accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Accurately enter and track financial data, maintaining detailed and organized ledgers.
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements regularly to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Assist with job costing and expense tracking, providing valuable insights into project profitability.

Accounting Support

• Assist with AIA billing (Architectural Institute of America) and other project-related accounting tasks.
• Maintain highly organized financial records, ensuring easy retrieval and audit readiness.
• Work proficiently within Centerpoint Connect, our primary accounting software.
• Communicate effectively and proactively with managers regarding all payroll and accounting items.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of dedicated payroll or bookkeeping experience.
• Demonstrated strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
• Proven ability to manage sensitive financial information with the utmost professionalism and discretion.
• Construction accounting experience is a significant plus.
