About the Sales Specialist Role

Kencove Inc. is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Specialist to join our team. This role is pivotal in directly engaging with our customers, providing in-depth information about our products and services. As a primary point of contact, you will play a crucial role in processing orders, effectively resolving customer complaints, and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of our offerings. Your contribution will be essential in enhancing overall customer satisfaction and driving sales growth for the company.

Tasks, Accountabilities, and Key Responsibilities

  • Confer with customers through various channels including telephone, internet, email, live chat, or in-person to provide product/service information, process orders, or gather complaint details.
  • Ensure that appropriate actions have been taken to effectively resolve customer problems and issues.
  • Maintain meticulous records of all customer interactions and transactions, detailing inquiries, complaints, comments, and the specific actions taken.
  • Resolve customer service or billing complaints, which may involve activities such as exchanging merchandise, processing refunds, or adjusting bills.
  • Provide expert recommendations for fencing implementation tailored to specific customer situations and generate accurate sales quotes.
  • Perform troubleshooting for fencing products and address related issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Proactively maintain and enhance product knowledge and stay updated on industry trends by attending relevant trade shows and expos.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills when interacting with supervisors, peers, subordinates, and external stakeholders.
  • Travel approximately 10% of the time to attend trade shows and expos.
  • Exhibit strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Agricultural Fencing Background: Proven experience and knowledge in agricultural fencing and construction.
  • General Agricultural Equipment Knowledge: Familiarity with common agricultural equipment such as tractors, skid steers, and post drivers.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in general computer applications.
  • Communication Skills: Professional and effective communication abilities.
  • Sales Background: Prior sales experience is preferred.
