Internship Overview

We are actively seeking candidates for our 2026 technical summer internships as part of the BOCES PTECH Internship Program. This opportunity is designed for individuals eager to join our ES Controls Engineering teams at BAE Systems, Inc. Interns will work side-by-side with experienced problem solvers and senior engineering staff.

  • Location: BAE Systems in Endicott, New York
  • Type: Paid Internship
  • Schedule: Includes every other Friday off, offering a favorable work-life balance.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Candidates for this internship must meet the following criteria:

  • Any high school courses in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM)
  • Planning to pursue higher education and a career in Engineering
  • MUST be part of the BOCES PTECH Program

Pay Information

The Full-Time Salary Range for this role is $31,900 – $43,100.

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Temporary employees generally are not eligible for BAE Systems benefits, but can elect to participate in the 401(k) savings plan. Temporary employees working 20+ hours per week are eligible for medical benefits, the employee assistance program, and business travel accident insurance.
