• Team: Platform Development team, collaborating with product managers, UX designers, and other engineering teams.
• Mission: To architect, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance, and resilient platform services that power the entire product suite.

What You’ll Actually Do
• System Design: Lead the design, development, and implementation of new features and enhancements for core platform services.
• Architecture Evolution: Contribute to the architectural evolution of the platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
• Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and testable code, actively participating in code reviews.
• Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues across the platform, optimizing system efficiency.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to define requirements, integrate components, and deliver end-to-end solutions.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Senior Software Engineer specializing in backend and platform services, with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with a significant portion focused on backend and platform services.
• Skills: Strong proficiency in one or more backend languages such as Java, Python, Go, C#, or Node.js; solid understanding of distributed systems; hands-on experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases; extensive experience with RESTful API design; experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes); excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; strong communication abilities.
• Bonus: Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; experience with event-driven architectures and message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS); familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices; experience with microservices architecture; contributions to open-source projects.
