Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and robust web applications from front to back-end. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet our evolving business needs and provide an exceptional user experience. This role requires a strong technical leader who can contribute to architecture, mentor peers, and drive best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of new features and services across our full technology stack, including both front-end (React, TypeScript, Redux) and back-end (Node.js, Python, microservices, GraphQL).
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and testable code, adhering to established coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, UX/UI, QA) to define, design, and ship new features, translating business requirements into technical specifications.
• Participate actively in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring high code quality, performance, and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software to improve functionality, performance, and security.
• Contribute to architectural decisions, evaluate new technologies, and drive technical excellence and innovation within the team.
• Mentor junior engineers, share knowledge, and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Ensure the scalability, reliability, availability, and security of our applications through robust design and implementation.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in software development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development, with a proven track record of shipping complex web applications.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js (React expertise preferred).
• Extensive experience with back-end development using at least one of the following: Node.js, Python, Java, or Go (Node.js and Python experience highly valued).
• Solid understanding of database technologies, including both relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Redis) databases.
• Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and asynchronous programming.
• Proficiency with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing robust CI/CD pipelines and adopting DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks and methodologies (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, Mocha, Chai).
• Familiarity with GraphQL for API development.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
• Contributions to open-source projects or a strong portfolio of personal projects demonstrating technical prowess.
• Experience with real-time applications and web sockets.
