What You’ll Actually Do
• Design & Develop: Take ownership of the technical design, implementation, and deployment of complex features across the full stack, ensuring applications are scalable, reliable, and maintainable.
• Code High Quality Solutions: Develop clean, efficient, well-documented, and thoroughly tested code for both front-end user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks and for back-end services, including APIs and databases.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineers to understand requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver effective solutions that meet business goals.
• Mentor and Guide Engineers: Provide essential technical guidance, mentorship, and conduct thorough code reviews for junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Contribute to Architectural Vision: Actively participate in architectural discussions and decisions, helping to define and shape the future of the company’s technology stack and underlying infrastructure.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience, demonstrating a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.
• Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on full stack web development. This includes expert proficiency in modern front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and extensive experience with frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js, alongside strong expertise in at least one back-end language like Python, Node.js, Go, Java, or C#.
• Skills: Proficiency in RESTful API design and development, coupled with an understanding of microservices architecture; solid understanding of both relational database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB); practical experience with cloud platforms, including deploying and managing applications on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform; expertise in version control systems, particularly Git, and a demonstrated ability to write comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests; strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to debug complex issues efficiently across the entire technology stack.
• Bonus: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration; familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices; experience with GraphQL; contributions to open-source projects or a strong GitHub profile; experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment; knowledge of security best practices in web application development; and previous experience mentoring junior engineers.
