What You’ll Actually Do
• General Property Repairs: Execute a range of essential repairs across the property, including basic drywall work, painting, staining, and the maintenance of wall vinyl within guestrooms and public areas.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the optimal functioning and appearance of all equipment located in both guestrooms and across public spaces, proactively addressing issues to enhance the overall guest experience.
• Preventative Maintenance: Systematically complete all planned and scheduled preventative maintenance tasks for the resort’s facilities, playing a key role in avoiding larger issues and extending the lifespan of property assets.
• Plumbing Services: Expertly diagnose and resolve plumbing issues by competently replacing faulty components, maintaining comfort and functionality for guests and staff alike throughout the property.
• Administrative Accuracy: Maintain detailed and accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs performed, and inspections conducted, ensuring comprehensive documentation for tracking, compliance, and future reference.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A High School Diploma or GED is required, combined with a clear eagerness to learn and grow within the dynamic field of property maintenance. This role is ideal for an early career professional seeking to develop a robust skill set through hands-on experience and receive top-notch training.
• Experience: Possess 6 months to 1 year of direct, related experience in property maintenance, general repairs, or a similar hands-on role where practical maintenance skills were applied.
• Skills: Demonstrated ability in basic drywall and painting/staining repairs, proficiency in replacing faulty plumbing components, competence in general equipment maintenance for guestrooms and public spaces, and meticulous detailed record keeping. Physical requirements include the ability to easily climb stairs and work on ladders up to 30 feet, push/pull up to 80 lbs, and lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
