About the Brand Marketing Internship

Futu US Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Brand Marketing Intern to join our team. This is an unpaid internship specifically designed for students who are passionate about marketing and eager to gain real-world experience within the dynamic fintech industry.

This internship offers invaluable hands-on exposure to various aspects of marketing, including campaign development, influencer collaboration, and data-driven decision-making. Interns will work closely with experienced professionals, learning how marketing strategies are conceptualized and executed in a fast-paced financial services environment.

This position is based at our Jersey City office; remote work is not available. Academic credit may be arranged in coordination with your educational institution, if applicable.

What You’ll Learn & Do:

1. Campaign & Creative Coordination

  • Support the development and execution of 360° product campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Gain exposure to maintaining brand consistency, including voice, expression, and values throughout all creative work.
  • Collaborate with Product Development, Sales, Marketing, and Creative teams to understand how cross-functional alignment drives campaign success.
  • Review brand performance metrics and contribute ideas to improve messaging and creative effectiveness.

2. Brand Stewardship

  • Understand how to act as a brand steward by ensuring consistent brand representation across all marketing channels.
  • Develop the ability to identify areas where brand language or positioning can be strengthened across owned platforms.

3. White Space Ideation

  • Contribute cultural, competitive, and audience insights to shape creative direction and new campaign ideas.
  • Develop skills in monitoring competitor activity and analyzing how brands communicate in the market.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and help shape innovative marketing strategies that enhance brand awareness, engagement, and loyalty.

What You Bring:

  • Currently enrolled student in Marketing, Communications, Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of real-world experience (internships or personal pursuits) in brand marketing or advertising.
  • Basic understanding of brand strategy, campaign/creative development, and the financial services landscape.
  • A strong passion for creating impactful brand work in a fast-moving, competitive category.
  • A strong problem-solving mindset coupled with creativity and out-of-the-box thinking.
  • Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills.
  • A collaborative, team-oriented attitude with enthusiasm for learning.
