The TL;DR

• Pay: $16–$20 hourly

What You’ll Actually Do
• Daily Living Assistance: Assist clients with a variety of daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
• Personal Care Provision: Provide comprehensive personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Safety and Mobility Support: Maintain a safe environment for clients and assist with safe mobility support and transfers.
• Household and Meal Support: Prepare meals, help clients with eating, and assist with light housekeeping and laundry tasks.
• Companionship and Transportation: Offer companionship and emotional support, as well as transportation to appointments.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level career; paid training is provided; no prior healthcare experience is required.
• Experience: No experience necessary, but transferable skills from restaurant, food service, or hospitality roles are highly valued.
• Skills: Strong people skills, reliability, ability to multitask, calmness under pressure, and anticipation of needs.
• Bonus: High school diploma or equivalent, successful background check clearance, valid driver’s license, reliable car, and automobile insurance.
