Finance Internship – Summer 2025
AFL is actively seeking highly motivated Finance Interns for the Summer 2025 program in Duncan, SC. This is an exciting opportunity for college students to gain invaluable knowledge and practical work experience while expanding their education in a dynamic corporate environment.
Interns will be responsible for assisting with a wide variety of projects across our various lines of business, with opportunities in key financial areas including:
- Corporate and Products Accounting
- Products Finance
- Tax
- Treasury
Key Responsibilities
The individuals selected for these internships will provide essential assistance with a range of responsibilities, which may include:
- Supporting the month-end close process.
- Developing operational and plant metrics (Key Performance Indicators – KPIs).
- Enhancing current cycle count processes and procedures.
- Maintaining fixed assets within Sage.
- Assisting with daily cash management activities.
- Contributing to process improvement initiatives.
- Conducting accounting research.
- Working on special projects as needed.
Requirements
- Must be a current student at an accredited four-year college or university, studying accounting or finance.
- Must be at least a sophomore standing with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Must be detail-oriented.
- Must be motivated and hardworking.
- Previous Finance or Accounting Internship experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office is required.
