Job Title: Fence Installer (Entry-Level – Will Train)

Location: Baltimore, MD (Field-based across the Baltimore Metro Area)

Key Responsibilities

• Install residential and commercial fencing in strict adherence to Abbey quality standards.
• Execute all aspects of fence installation, including digging post holes, setting posts securely, ensuring precise leveling, installing hardware, and completing all finish work to a clean, professional standard.
• Efficiently load and unload materials, tools, and equipment at various job sites.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas throughout the duration of each project.
• Be prepared to work outdoors consistently in varying Maryland weather conditions, including heat, cold, and snow.
• Consistently follow instructions provided by crew leaders and the Installation Manager to ensure projects are completed efficiently.
• Represent Abbey Fence & Deck professionally and courteously when interacting with homeowners and other customers on-site.

Qualifications

• Possess a strong work ethic, demonstrate consistent reliability, and show a genuine willingness to learn a skilled trade.
• Be comfortable performing physical labor outdoors for extended periods.
• Any prior experience in construction, landscaping, or general hands-on labor is considered a significant plus.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and diligently follow directions.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from various job sites.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (Please note: no sponsorship is available for this position).

Compensation & Benefits

• Employment Type: Full-time, W-2 Employment.
• Starting Pay: $20/hour (actual rate based on experience).
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, approximately 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.; overtime opportunities are available as needed.
• Medical insurance.
• Potential for performance-based bonuses (paid biannually).
• Abbey ACE Incentive Program: Crews have the opportunity to earn additional incentive pay when installations are completed ahead of schedule.
• Eligibility for all benefits begins after a 90-day introductory period.
