The TL;DR

• Pay: $20 hourly
• Team: Works as part of a crew, reporting to crew leaders and an Installation Manager.
• Mission: To install high-quality residential and commercial fences in adherence to Abbey standards, learning a valuable trade.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Installation & Quality: Install residential and commercial fencing in strict adherence to Abbey quality standards, executing all aspects from digging post holes and setting posts to precise leveling and final finish work.
• Logistics & Site Management: Efficiently load and unload materials, tools, and equipment at various job sites, while maintaining safe, clean, and organized work areas throughout project durations.
• Environmental Adaptability: Be prepared to work outdoors consistently in varying Maryland weather conditions, including heat, cold, and snow.
• Team Collaboration & Direction: Consistently follow instructions provided by crew leaders and the Installation Manager to ensure projects are completed efficiently.
• Customer Interaction: Represent Abbey Fence & Deck professionally and courteously when interacting with homeowners and other customers on-site.

The Must-Haves
• Background: This is an entry-level position seeking individuals with a strong work ethic, consistent reliability, and a genuine willingness to learn a skilled trade. Candidates must also be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Experience: Reliable transportation is required to travel to and from various job sites across the Baltimore Metro Area.
• Skills: The role requires comfort with performing physical labor outdoors for extended periods in varying Maryland weather conditions, alongside the ability to work effectively as part of a team and diligently follow directions.
• Bonus: Any prior experience in construction, landscaping, or general hands-on labor is considered a significant plus.
