What You’ll Actually Do
• Develop and deploy: Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain new features and enhancements for core web applications, covering both front-end and back-end components.
• Mentor and guide: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, participating in code reviews and architectural discussions to promote best practices.
• Shape architecture: Contribute to the architectural design and evolution of the platform, ensuring its scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate effectively: Work cross-functionally with product management, design, and QA teams to translate business requirements into high-quality technical solutions.
• Optimize performance: Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues, enhancing application efficiency and responsiveness.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience, with core domain knowledge in full-stack software development.
• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development, with a strong portfolio of successful projects and experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Skills: Proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript and front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js), extensive experience with back-end languages/frameworks (Node.js, Python, Go, Java, Ruby on Rails), solid understanding of RESTful API design, and experience with relational/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
• Bonus: Experience with microservices architecture, knowledge of real-time communication protocols like WebSockets, familiarity with GraphQL, experience with search technologies (Elasticsearch, Solr), prior experience in an agile development environment, or contributions to open-source projects.
