Our pediatric OR team supports a full range of surgical specialties, including general surgery, orthopedics, neurosurgery, ENT, plastics, urology, ophthalmology, dental/oral surgery, and robotics. What You’ll Do: Role & Responsibilities
As a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN), and a member of Advocate Health’s Nursing Professional Governance community, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care through evidence-based practice, clinical expertise, and compassionate care delivery in an acute care setting. You will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
- Delivering safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Utilizing evidence-based practice and clinical decision-making.
- Exercising compassion and skillful communication.
- Leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
- Advocating for patient needs.
- Upholding professional practice standards to promote optimal health outcomes.
Expectations & Qualifications We’re Looking For
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
