Job Description

Marketing & Content Intern

Ambrosia Ventures is seeking 1–2 Marketing & Content Interns to significantly enhance our brand presence across social media, video, and digital channels in New York City.

About the Role

Ambrosia Ventures is a life sciences strategy and M&A advisory firm that also develops intelligence platforms for the biopharma industry. We have an established marketing team and active social media channels. This role is designed to inject creative firepower in NYC by producing dynamic video content, capturing professional photography at events and meetings, supporting interview production, and helping our marketing team scale content output across LinkedIn, Instagram, and other relevant channels.

Success in this role means you will consistently produce polished, on-brand visual content, including short-form videos, event recaps, interview clips, and carousel graphics, ready for immediate deployment by our marketing team without heavy editing. We’re looking for individuals who bring innovative ideas, not just execution. By the end of the summer, you will have a professional reel of content tied to a real brand in the life sciences sector, differentiating you from other marketing interns applying for jobs.

This role integrates with our existing marketing team, and you will report to the Managing Partner. You will serve as our NYC content engine—whenever there’s an event, a client meeting, a conference, or an interview, you’ll be the one ensuring it’s transformed into impactful content. The highest performers in this program will be considered for an expanded role after the summer.

Responsibilities

  • Produce short-form video content (reels, clips, event recaps, founder commentary) for LinkedIn, Instagram, and other social channels. Shoot, edit, and deliver polished assets on a consistent weekly cadence.
  • Capture professional photography at industry conferences, client meetings, team sessions, and NYC-based events. Build a library of on-brand visual assets that the marketing team can leverage across campaigns.
  • Support the production of interview-style content with the founding team, clients, and industry figures. Handle setup, lighting, audio, and post-production editing to deliver publish-ready clips.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and schedule social media posts across all active channels. Contribute creative concepts for carousels, infographics, and data visualizations using our proprietary deal benchmarking data.
  • Monitor content performance metrics (engagement, reach, follower growth, video views) and provide data-backed recommendations for format, timing, and messaging optimization.
  • Assist with graphic design for marketing collateral including presentation decks, one-pagers, event signage, and digital ads as needed.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (rising juniors and seniors preferred) in marketing, communications, film/media production, digital media, graphic design, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to shoot and edit video content—share your portfolio, reel, or TikTok/Instagram page with your application.
  • Proficiency with video editing tools (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent).
  • Strong visual eye for composition, branding consistency, and platform-native content formats.
  • Based in or able to commute to New York City for on-site content capture (events, interviews, meetings).
  • Self-directed and comfortable operating independently at shoots and events without step-by-step direction.

Preferred:

  • Experience managing or contributing to a brand’s social media channels (not just personal accounts).
  • Proficiency with graphic design tools (Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Photography skills with DSLR or mirrorless cameras (not just smartphone).
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn content strategy and B2B social media (this is our primary channel).
  • Interest in life sciences, healthcare, biotech, or fintech—you don’t need to be an expert, but curiosity about the space will make your content sharper.

Program Details

  • Duration: 10–12 weeks, Summer 2026. Flexible start date.
  • Location: NYC-based (hybrid – content capture is on-site, editing/meetings can be remote).
  • Travel: Opportunities to attend and capture content at industry conferences alongside the founding team.
  • Career path: Highest performers will be considered for an expanded part-time or full-time marketing role after the program. This is how we build our team.
  • Portfolio: You will leave with a professional content reel tied to a real life sciences brand—video, photography, social campaigns—that no classroom project can replicate.

How to Apply

Send your resume and a link to your portfolio, reel, or best content work to info@ambrosiaventures.co. A brief note (2–3 sentences) on what kind of content you’d create for a life sciences brand is a plus but not required. Rolling admissions.
