What You’ll Actually Do
• Build: Use AI tools such as Claude CLI to build and refine front-end product features.
• Improve: Review existing UI implementations, identifying and fixing behavior, logic, or UX issues directly using AI.
• Optimize: Evaluate and enhance state management, component behavior, user interactions, and edge-case handling.
• Implement: Translate user stories, product requirements, and acceptance criteria into functional front-end behavior.
• Collaborate: Partner with leadership to improve overall front-end quality and product behavior, documenting improvements as needed.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Masters Degree required for this early career internship. Candidates should possess a strong understanding of how software behaves on the front end, demonstrating innate quality instincts and product judgment.
• Experience: 1–2 years of professional QA experience is strongly preferred, coupled with experience testing websites, web applications, or software products. Must be comfortable using AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, or Claude CLI for technical tasks and available to start immediately.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail and robust product judgment are essential. Candidates must have innate front-end quality instincts, enabling the recognition of broken behavior, weak UX, and missed edge cases, along with the ability to interpret and work from documentation, user stories, and product requirements. A proactive mindset focused on directly fixing problems rather than merely reporting them is key.
• Bonus: Experience with a QA bootcamp or certification, or a background in product management, UX, or design is a major plus. Practical experience using Claude CLI or similar AI-assisted coding tools for code review, bug fixing, or front-end improvement is highly valued, as is basic familiarity with front-end concepts like component behavior, state changes, and error handling.
