About the Role:

Koino Capital is seeking a highly skilled and creative IG Reels Editor to join its High-Volume Content Team. This is a crucial contract remote role for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses a keen understanding of short-form video content strategy. The IG Reels Editor will be instrumental in scaling Koino Capital’s visual presence on Instagram, curating, editing, and managing dynamic Reels content that captivates audiences and drives engagement. Key Responsibilities:

• Content Curation & Editing: Systematically curate and edit high-quality Instagram Reels content at scale, ensuring each piece aligns with Koino Capital’s brand voice and strategic objectives.
• Aesthetic & Brand Cohesion: Maintain a consistent and compelling aesthetic across all Reels, meticulously adhering to established content guidelines and brand standards.
• Trend Research & Optimization: Proactively research current Instagram Reels trends, emerging audio, and audience engagement strategies to continuously optimize content reach and maximize viewer interaction.
• Content Management: Efficiently manage content workflows from conceptualization to final publication, ensuring timely delivery within a high-volume production schedule.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with content creators, strategists, and other team members, providing constructive feedback and contributing creative suggestions to enhance overall content performance.
• Performance Insights: Provide suggestions and insights based on trend analysis and content performance to continually refine the Reels strategy and improve engagement metrics.

Required Qualifications:

• Content Management & Editorial Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in content management systems and editorial practices, particularly within digital media.
• Writing Skills: Strong abilities in web content writing and general writing, with an understanding of how to craft compelling calls to action and on-screen text for short-form video.
• Research Abilities: Exceptional research skills for identifying trending topics, popular sounds, relevant hashtags, and effective audience engagement strategies on Instagram.
• Deadline Adherence: Proven ability to consistently meet project deadlines and manage multiple content pieces simultaneously in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Instagram Reels Expertise: In-depth familiarity with Instagram Reels functionality, best practices for short-form video creation, and an understanding of platform dynamics for maximizing reach and engagement.
• Independent Work & Communication: Ability to work effectively and autonomously as part of a remote team, maintaining clear and proactive communication.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Video Editing Software: Knowledge or hands-on experience with professional video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
• Digital Marketing Acumen: An understanding of digital marketing principles and how short-form content contributes to broader marketing funnels.
