• Mission: Contribute to significant infrastructure developments by providing creative and efficient solutions for complex roadway and civil engineering challenges.
• Tech Stack: MS Office tools, CAD software (MicroStation preferred), applicable engineering software

What You’ll Actually Do
• Solution Design: Develop creative and innovative solutions for complex roadway and civil engineering challenges, seeking efficient and economical methods.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with Federal, State, and local agency requirements, industry standards, and best practices.
• Documentation & Analysis: Prepare comprehensive documentation including specifications, cost estimates, quantity calculations, detailed technical reports, and engineering analyses.
• Technical Review: Review supplier drawing submittals and perform thorough technical bid analyses to ensure quality and compliance.
• Construction Support: Assist in the preparation and issuance of critical construction documents such as specifications and data sheets.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Civil Engineering or a closely related field, having completed at least two years of coursework.
• Experience: Prior coursework completed in transportation, roadway, or structural engineering disciplines. Demonstrated strong interest and ability to effectively work on multiple road and highway projects simultaneously.
• Skills: Proficiency in MS Office tools, a fundamental working knowledge of CAD software (MicroStation preferred), familiarity with industry standards and applicable engineering software, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Bonus: Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or prior internship experience in civil or roadway engineering.
