This is an internship at City of Fort Worth, located in Fort Worth, TX. • Mission: To participate in an immersive program focused on commercial real estate management and economic development, learning the operational aspects of city government and contributing to its service to residents.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Engage: Participate in an immersive eight-week program (June 2nd through July 24th, 2026) deeply focused on commercial real estate management.
• Contribute: Assist with key initiatives in economic development to support the City’s growth and service to residents.
• Learn: Gain valuable insight into the operational mechanisms of local government and how the City of Fort Worth serves its diverse community.
• Collaborate: Work alongside committed City staff, receiving hands-on experience and guidance to foster your professional development.
• Develop: Attend weekly professional development sessions tailored to support your career goals and enhance your skills.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Current student, or recently graduated within the last 6 months of application, or working towards a specialization in a vocational field, or a Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctorate’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in a related field of study. Career level: Early Career. The program specifically targets students in Real Estate Management degree or certificate programs.
• Experience: No previous work experience is required for this internship. However, candidates who do not meet the primary education requirement may be considered if they possess relevant work experience that exceeds the position’s typical needs.
• Skills: Demonstrated interest and foundational knowledge in commercial real estate management and economic development, as typically gained through relevant academic coursework.
• Bonus: Current students actively enrolled in Texas Christian University or Texas Tech University Real Estate Management degree or certificate programs will receive priority placement.
