What You’ll Actually Do
• Design: Lead the technical design and architecture of new features and services, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Develop: Develop, test, and deploy high-quality code across various components of the platform, from backend services to front-end interfaces.
• Mentor: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers, fostering knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
• Optimize: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, optimize system resource utilization, and enhance the overall efficiency of applications.
• Collaborate: Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver solutions.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience, with proven expertise in designing and building large-scale, distributed systems, microservices architectures, and RESTful APIs, including hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Skills: Strong proficiency in one or more object-oriented programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, C#, or Node.js; solid understanding and experience with both relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis) databases; deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design principles, and design patterns; excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Bonus: Experience with modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js); familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices; experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes); contributions to open-source projects or a strong portfolio of personal technical projects; experience with real-time data processing, streaming technologies (Kafka), or message queues (SQS, RabbitMQ).
