What You’ll Actually Do
• Design and Develop: Architect, design, and implement highly scalable, reliable, and secure backend services and APIs.
• System Optimization: Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues across distributed systems for optimal functionality.
• Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, participating in code reviews and advocating for best practices.
• Collaboration: Work with product managers, frontend engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver technical solutions.
• Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering continuous improvement.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience: 5+ years of professional backend software development experience, including extensive work with relational and NoSQL databases, and hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms.
• Skills: Strong proficiency in at least one modern backend language (Python, Java, Go, or Node.js), proven experience designing RESTful APIs, solid understanding of microservices architecture, and experience with various testing methodologies and Git.
• Bonus: Master’s degree, experience with Docker and Kubernetes, familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, knowledge of message queues and event-driven architectures.
