• Mission: This role is for a college-level student to gain practical and professional experience by leading and supporting process improvement projects within the Industrial Engineering Department.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead: Lead individual improvement projects within the department.
• Support: Support existing improvement projects currently underway within the department.
• Analyze: Analyze and improve production processes, encompassing internal logistics, MRP, industrial engineering practices, and final assembly operations.
• Assist: Assist the Industrial Engineering team with New Product Introductions and manage product ramp-ups and ramp-downs.
• Develop: Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure their effective visualization for the department.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career student pursuing an undergraduate’s degree in a related field at an accredited university or institution.
• Experience: No specific years of prior experience are required, as this internship aims to provide practical and professional experience.
• Skills: Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail; strong interpersonal communication skills; proven ability to collaborate effectively as a team player.
