Job Description
Human Resources Intern
As a Human Resources Intern, you will have a valuable opportunity to apply your academic knowledge and training in a real-world setting. Under the direct supervision of HR Leaders, you will contribute to the facilitation of various HR programs and initiatives focused on attracting, developing, and retaining a talented and engaged workforce.
What You Will Be Doing
- Coordinate the on-boarding process, including scheduling orientation and managing new hire paperwork.
- Prepare status change forms, offer letters, and other essential HR documents as directed by the HR Business Partner.
- Support regional Early Talent Management efforts, which include organizing career fairs, college visits, student interviews, and managing internship and co-op programs.
- Facilitate interview arrangements for prospective candidates, ensuring a smooth and organized process.
- Collaborate effectively with a variety of functions, including Human Resources, Communications, Operations, and other internal groups.
- Assist with candidate pre-boarding activities, ensuring new hires are prepared for their start date.
- Assist with off-boarding activities, managing necessary procedures for departing employees.
- Assist with data analysis to support HR decision-making and reporting.
- Support and coordinate employee engagement activities to foster a positive workplace culture.
- Support and assist with company-wide policy and initiative roll-out communications and implementation.
- Support the adherence to published corporate policies.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, union, and federal regulatory agency regulations and requirements.
- Perform additional assignments as directed by management to support departmental needs.
What We Are Looking For
- Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business, or a related major, from an accredited university.
- Must be results-oriented, demonstrate high initiative, possess the ability to influence others, and work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Must have strong judgment and operate with high integrity.

Salary Range: USD $24.00/Hr. – USD $28.00/Hr.
