Service Team Associate – Panda Restaurant Group

Pay Range: $22 – $25 per hour (Individual pay within this range is determined by factors such as work location and experience.)

Essential Functions:

  • Provides an exceptional dining experience to Guests, including greeting, serving food, and handling payments at the cash register.
  • Maintains the cleanliness and appealing appearance of the store.
  • Adheres to Operations Standards and Safety Procedures to ensure fresh and quality food is served.
  • Works efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with the flexibility to work at different positions such as Front Counter, Drive-Through, or Kitchen.
  • Collaborates effectively with team members to achieve daily goals in a fun and positive atmosphere.

Qualifications:

  • Friendly and helpful team player attitude.
  • Operations experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Some high school education.
  • Food Handler certification may be required depending on local requirements, to be acquired at your own expense.

Physical Demands and Work Environment (ADA Statement):

While performing duties, counter areas are often hot with steam from steam tables and food vapors. Workspace is restricted, and employees are generally expected to remain standing for long periods. Employees must be able to prepare hot and cold foods, use Chinese cook knives and other kitchen equipment, and work quickly without losing accuracy. This role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for up to four hours, and reach across countertops (measured at 36 inches) to serve customers. Kitchen environments are typically hot with high noise levels; storage space is limited, and shelving is high. Employees must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, possess effective verbal communication skills, adapt to a dynamic environment with changing priorities, and manage conflicts/difficult situations.
