About the Role: Marketing & Community Engagement Intern
Are you a student or aspiring marketer passionate about leveraging your skills for social good? Join CouponDonation, an innovative philanthropic tech startup founded by Harshit Agrawal and Paul Savluc. We are building a global movement centered on the “Multiplier Effect” – transforming everyday discounts into life-changing donations.
This is an unpaid, educational, and remote internship where you will work directly with the founders to gain invaluable hands-on experience in building a brand from the ground up. You will develop practical skills in digital marketing, community building, and social entrepreneurship, making this role ideal for individuals eager to build a robust portfolio while contributing to genuine social causes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation Support: Assist in drafting engaging content for key social media platforms, including LinkedIn and Instagram (inclusive of Reels), to effectively promote our “Shop, Save, Support” mission.
- Market Research: Learn to identify, research, and compile data on potential non-profit partners and top philanthropists for targeted outreach campaigns.
- Community Engagement: Help monitor and actively engage with our growing social media community, fostering trust, transparency, and a sense of shared purpose.
- Campaign Brainstorming: Participate in weekly strategy sessions, contributing creative ideas for the enhancement of the “Top-Up Nudge” feature and upcoming charity drives.
- Analytics Tracking: Gain experience in tracking the performance metrics of social media posts and provide data-driven suggestions for content and strategy improvements.
Qualifications:
- Current Student or Recent Graduate: Ideally pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Passion for Social Impact: A genuine desire to support non-profits and a keen interest in understanding the dynamics of digital philanthropy.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities in English are essential.
- Social Media Savvy: Familiarity with platforms like Instagram and LinkedIn, along with basic content creation tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut), is a significant plus.
- Curious & Proactive: A demonstrated willingness to learn new tools, adapt to new challenges, and take initiative within a fast-paced startup environment.
Additional Information:
This is an unpaid, remote internship primarily focused on providing educational experience, mentorship from the founders, and opportunities for portfolio building. We are pleased to provide college credit where applicable, in accordance with your institution’s requirements.
